Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. Unfortunately we are UNABLE to fulfill orders from outside the UK Mainland. We cannot ship to Northern Ireland/Ireland, Mainland Europer , USA/North America or any other countries.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, by post or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
In most cases all orders leave our warehouse within 48 hours. For smaller orders below 100kg we will send your items in boxes using a parcel carrier and this will be delivered to your door where a signature is required. Instructions to leave the goods in a specific location without the customer being present or to ring a number ahead of delivery and can be given at the time of order and usually adhered to.
For larger orders (over 100kg) we will send orders on mini pallet using a HGV transport service.
Instructions can be given such as booking in delivery on a telephone number or for the lorry to have a tail lift. With these deliveries a signature must be obtained by the driver.
Certain sizes of chemical products are now classed as hazardous for road transport and these are identified as having (HAZ) at the end of the product description on the website. These products are unable to be ordered/delivered to certain postcode areas in the Scottish Highlands/Islands. This information will be prompted at the time of order/enterting delivery post code. Occassionally certain consignements maybe delayed occassionally due to the different transport service required.
We endeavour to deliver within 4-5 working days.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
