An ideal decorative finish for residential barns. Bird Brand Premium Barn Paint is a water based acrylic paint that can also be applied onto timber, metal and plastics.  Where bleeding or flash rusting can occur with signs of yellow discolouration then we would recommend first applying a stain blocking primer onto timber knots or nails before applying barn paint. For very porous surfaces we advise diluting with 25%  of water for the first coat.
