From May 1st 2025, BIRD BRAND CREOSHIELD® will replace Creocote. Creoshield is our new solvent-based, ready-to-use exterior timber treatment. Creoshield® imparts an attractive and water-repellent finish, resembling the old creocote version with a reduced but characteristic odour. Creoshield® penetrates the timber and has a wax additive designed to repel rainwater for approximately the 1st year of service. It also has a lower hazard classification and is a bit more pleasant to apply. Colours and performance are very similar to give a lasting, economical and attractive finish. Read more..
